Buying your beef in larger quantities from On Twin Lakes Farm is very cost effective but also provides peace of mind. In this day and age it is important to know where your beef was raised for the health and safety of your family.
When purchasing our beef by the ¼ , ½ or entire animal you know where and how it is raised. With a large quantity purchase you pay for a price per pound not a price per cut. With our ¼ , ½ or entire animal purchase, the average cost per pound is approximately $3.75. This means that our ground beef is $3.75 a pound, but so is our tenderloin steak! Our beef is butchered at the state inspected facility and all pieces are individually cut and wrapped to meet your specifications. For more information on pricing details please click here.
We provide a “mixed” ¼ or ½ animal. This means that you are paying for the weight per pound of ¼ or ½ of the animal. Our quarters are actually a split half. This results in a variety of steaks, ribs, roast, etc. in your beef order.
Keep in mind that naturally raised meat is leaner than what you are probably used to so you will have to cook it accordingly. We encourage you to go to your grocery store and compare prices. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
