SLEIGH / WAGON RIDES

There is no better way to experience nature than by sleigh or wagon.  Over the course of your 90, minute (approx.) ride, your teams of Haflinger horses will bring you and your guests through a variety of vistas.  Up and down hills, in and out of the 300+ acres of woods, along lakes and ponds you'll ride.  Keep your eyes peeled, there are often animals to see: deer, squirrels, owls, bald eagles, and turkeys are common sightings on a ride in addition to our Oreo cows.

 

Singing is strongly encouraged, especially near Christmas time.  We usually need to rest the horses during the ride, so we stop for hot coco and warm up by the fire while the horses catch their breath.

 

Our fall wagon rides are highlighted by the colors of the woods.  Many parts of the trails are canopied with trees and have a carpet of fallen brightly colored leaves.  There is no better way to spend a fall day than listening to horse hooves rustling the leaves with crisp fall air in your lungs.

 

For all rides pricing starts at $100.00 this price is for 1,2,3,4 riders

Every additional rider over the base of 1-4 is $15 each.  So, if your family of 6 wants a ride it will be $130 plus tax (100 +15+15 + tax).  The maximum number of riders is 8-10 depending on the weight of the total group riding. Please have a best guess of total weight when you call to book a ride.

 

We provide blankets and hot cocoa but we do ask that you dress for the weather. (bundle up)

 

If you have a larger group or event, we do have 2 teams of horses and you may be able to book both. Each sleigh will be priced separately as the example above.

 

For the cozier occasion, we offer a one-horse cutter that seats 2 riders and driver. Cost for date sleigh is our base rate of 100.00 plus tax.

 

We will be doing rides by appointment only please contact us for availability.

 

Ride times Monday through Saturday are 11:30 or 1:30 or 3:30 start times.  Sunday ride times 1:30 and 3:30 start times.

Plan for 90 minutes at the farm if you are scheduling other activities around your sleigh ride.
